Yes, absolutely. All payments on globalu.fr are 100% secure thanks to our certified partners. Your bank details are encrypted using SSL/TLS protocol and never pass through our servers. We comply with PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard), the international security standard for online payments. What’s more, 3D Secure authentication protects you against fraud during every transaction.

What payment methods are available?
GLOBALU accepts the following means of payment:

Pay in instalments: 3x or 4x free of charge

All our payments are processed by Payplug and Alma, certified and secure French solutions. Your bank details are never stored on our site.

Can I pay in instalments?
Yes, it’s possible. GLOBALU offers free payment in 3 or 4 instalments via our partner Alma, for all purchases over €100.

How does it work?

  1. Add products to basket
  2. In the payment step, select “Pay in 3x” or “Pay in 4x”.
  3. Validate with Alma (immediate response, no paperwork)
  4. The amount is automatically divided into 3 or 4 instalments
Example: For a €399 air conditioner cover, pay €133 today, then €133 in 30 days and €133 in 60 days. Simple, transparent, with no hidden costs.

Do you offer invoice with purchase?
Yes, systematically. A complete invoice is automatically generated for each order and sent to you by email as soon as your package is dispatched. This invoice includes all the legal information required: GLOBALU contact details (SIREN, VAT), product details, amounts including VAT and excluding VAT.

Professionals: If you need an invoice with your intra-Community VAT number or an estimate before placing an order, please contact us at [email protected] and we’ll draw up the necessary documents for you.

Can I combine several promotional codes?
No, only one coupon code per order. For technical reasons, our system does not allow multiple coupon codes to be used on the same transaction. If you have several codes, we recommend that you use the one offering the best discount.

Promotional codes cannot generally be combined with current special offers (sales, flash promotions, etc.). If in doubt, contact our customer service department at [email protected].

Do you run regular special offers or promotions?

    Returns & Warranty

    Can I return my air conditioning cover if the size doesn't fit?

    No, our products are not returnable. GLOBALU air conditioner covers are custom-made according to your dimensions and configuration. In accordance with article L.221-28 3° of the French Consumer Code, goods made to the consumer’s specifications are excluded from the right of withdrawal.

    To avoid mistakes:

    • Measure your outdoor unit precisely (width, height, depth)
    • Consult our size guide before ordering
    • Use our online configurator to check compatibility

    How does a return trip work?

    Returns are only accepted in exceptional cases:

    Defective or non-conforming product:

    1. Contact us within 48 hours of receipt at [email protected]
    2. Send photos of the defect
    3. We will analyze your request and propose a solution (exchange, refund, credit note).
    4. If the return is accepted, we will send you a prepaid shipping label.
    5. Return the product in its original, unassembled packaging.

    Product damaged in transit:

    • Report damage to the carrier immediately
    • Contact us within 24 hours with photos
    • We deal directly with the carrier and arrange for replacement.

    Please note Personalized or assembled products cannot be taken back.

    Are GLOBALU air conditioning covers guaranteed?

    Yes, 10-year warranty. All our air conditioner covers come with the Qualilaquage 10-year commercial warranty against :

    • Corrosion and rust
    • Peeling or blistering of powder coating
    • Structural deformation (excluding shocks)
    • Manufacturing defects

    This warranty covers:

    • The durability of the powder-coated finish
    • Aluminium’s resistance to the elements
    • Product compliance with CE standards

    This warranty does not cover:

    • Damage caused by improper installation
    • Shocks, scratches or deliberate damage
    • Normal wear and tear due to use
    • Product modifications

    What’s more, you’re covered by French legal warranties: 2-year warranty of conformity and warranty against hidden defects.

    My air-conditioning cover was damaged at the reception desk. What should I do?

    React immediately:

    1. On delivery (in front of the delivery person):

    • Check the condition of the package before signing
    • If the carton is damaged, refuse the package or write“UNPACKING RESERVED” on the delivery note.
    • Take photos of the package and the product if you notice any damage.

    3. Deadline:

    • All claims must be made within 48 hours of receipt.
    • After this time, we cannot guarantee that the carrier will take delivery.

    How quickly can I return an item?

    Returns are only possible for defective or non-conforming products, and must be reported within 48 hours of receipt.
